Being a manager
A manager is an account that brings merchants to BlinkyPay and earns commission on their operations. The merchants linked to you are your clients. Everything for managers sits in the Reseller Program group of the menu.
#When the Reseller Program group shows up
The Reseller Program group only shows up when you have at least one of its items. Each item has its own condition:
| Menu item | Shows up when |
|---|---|
| Partner | the account can use the manager console, or has commission to receive |
| Holdings | you hold a share in some account (see Holdings) |
| Refer & Earn | the account can use the manager console, has commission to receive or has already joined the program (see Refer & Earn) |
| Participants | you are a partner in some operation (see Partner console) |
The platform team is who turns on the manager console for an account. If your account is not a manager yet, the Partner screen says so and asks you to contact BlinkyPay.
#Who can open the console
The manager console opens for people with the Owner or Administrator role on the account (see Team).
If the console is not active for the account but there is commission to receive, the Partner screen shows only the withdrawal: "The manager portal is not active for this account, but there is commission to receive. You can withdraw it here." People with the Member role only see that the account owner or an administrator must withdraw that commission.
#The manager console
In the menu, open Reseller Program → Partner. The screen is called Manager console: "Your commission, what is waiting for you and each client’s rate."
At the top, on every tab, you have the Invite client and Withdraw commission buttons. Below them come the period bar and six tabs:
| Tab | What it has |
|---|---|
| Home | commission balance, pending items and the period summary (Home) |
| Clients | list of clients and invites, each client's panel and the full network (Clients and network) |
| Finance | where your commission came from and what is still to be released (Finance) |
| Balance & withdrawals | commission withdrawal, your withdrawals and your clients' withdrawals (Balance & withdrawals) |
| MED | MED holds, your clients' disputes and MEDs (Client MEDs) |
| Statements | commission movements and client transactions (Statements) |
The open tab is kept in the page address: reloading or sharing the link opens the same tab, and the browser Back button goes to the previous tab. Rates and invites are covered in Invite a client and set the rate.
#The period bar
The bar stays at the top of the console and applies to every tab.
- Shortcuts: All time, Today, 7 days, This month and Last month.
- Or pick dates in From and To. The bar shows the time zone of the dates, which is your account's (see Time zone and language).
- The period is also kept in the page address: a shared link shows the same numbers.
The default is All time. The parts that need a period (the Home summary, the Clients numbers, where your earnings came from) use the current month when no period is chosen, and the label says so: This month (no period chosen).
What is waiting for you does not follow the period: client withdrawals waiting for your pre-approval and open MEDs show up from any date.
| Message | What to do |
|---|---|
| "Pick both dates." | Fill in From and To. |
| "The start date is after the end date." | Swap the dates. |
| "The period can be at most…" | Pick a shorter period. |
| "The period in the link is not valid; showing all time." | The link had invalid dates. Pick the period again. |
#What you see about your clients
- Name, e-mail, rate, revenue, withdrawals, commission, account and verification status and last activity.
- Each client's withdrawals: amount, status, date and origin.
- Each client's disputes and MEDs, with the impact on your commission.
- The transactions and deposits of the clients in your network.
- In the client's full record, the masked document and the account ID.
#What you do not see
- The Pix key and the holder of a client's withdrawal. Pre-approval shows only the client, the amount and the request date.
- The money outcome of a MED. The status shows how the case is going, not whether the amount went back to the client.
You also do not decide the client's money on your own: after your pre-approval, the platform checks and pays the withdrawal; in a MED, the final decision is made by BlinkyPay and the acquirer.
Some parts of the console need to be enabled by the platform team: the network tree and financials, the MED holds and the client transactions. Without that, the screen says the detail is not enabled.
