Terms and privacy

BlinkyPay publishes two documents: the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. The text of both belongs to BlinkyPay.

#Where they are

  • On sign-up, the acceptance box has the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy links. Each one opens the document in another tab.
  • Both documents have their own page at the BlinkyPay dashboard address and open without signing in.
  • For some brands, the page goes straight to the terms published on the brand's website.

#Acceptance

To create an account, you tick the box "By creating your account you agree to the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy". Without ticking it, sign-up doesn't go on. See Create an account.

#When the text changes

The page always shows the latest text BlinkyPay published. If the brand has not published its own text through the dashboard, the page shows the brand's default document.

If you are on the brand team, the text is changed in Platform → Settings, in the Legal documents box. After Publish, the public page shows the new text within 1 minute. Clearing the text and publishing takes the page back to the brand's default document.
